IOTA developers launched the Nectar test network

The non -profit organization Iota Foundation announced the launch of the Nectar tweeter designers. It will become a prototype of a fully decentralized, resistant to censorship and does not involve Tangle protocol commissions.

The launch of the twist marked the second preparatory stage of the transition to Iota 2.0 at the end of 2021. The first took place in March 2021 with activation of Chrysalis updating.

Nectar is the following iteration of the Pollen test network, launched in June 2020. It is characterized by modular architecture: updates and errors can be implemented in its isolated components.

In the new test network, the developers abandoned the centralized coordinator, which allows to control the twist. Its role will depart the system of cooperation of GCD and reward to Mana tokens. The latter encourage the conscientious work of a higher reputation rating, relief access to transaction capacity and additional weight when making decisions.

In Nectar, developers have the opportunity to create tokenized assets, NFT and official tokens.
